She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. Joanne Holden is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. “I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition [IIN], where I studied all about hormonal health—the endocrine system and the roles the glands play to produce hormones essential to every bodily function (metabolism, growth, sleep, reproduction, homeostasis, brain function, mood regulation),” she says on her website, holdenon2health.
Throughout her adult life, Ms. Holden has strived to learn all she can about health and nutrition, focusing on natural remedies, nutrition and the role essential oils play in one’s overall health and well-being. As a Health Coach, she practices a holistic approach to health and wellness, looking at all aspects of a person’s life. “I work with my clients to get in touch with their body’s needs because I understand that life happens and your needs will change,” she said. “I want to equip you with the self-awareness to make the best decisions for yourself in any given circumstance.”
In addition to taking an advanced business course and studying hormone health at IIN, Ms. Holden is pursuing certification from IIN’s Gut Health course. “With the knowledge I have gained, I feel confident in specializing in the connection of hormones, stress and your gut health as I believe we can be our best selves if we pursue balance in our lives, energy in our bodies and joy in our hearts!” said Ms. Holden. Also passionate about the important healing properties of essential oils, she has taken several classes in Aromatherapy-Blending, Anatomy & Physiology. Presently, and is working on obtaining her Aromatherapy Certification.
