Geoffrey Lewis, AIA Joins Architecture, Incorporated as Technical Director
Reston, VA (PRWEB) March 08, 2018 -- Geoffrey Lewis, AIA, LEED AP has joined the growing Reston, VA office of Architecture, Incorporated as Technical Director. In this newly created role, Lewis will focus on document quality, standards, life-safety review, specifications, peer review, and in-house staff mentoring. He is a recognized expert in building codes, building science, and contract development; and will act as an additional resource for the firm’s institutional and commercial studios. Lewis joins with more than 35 years of professional experience, and was most recently a Director at DBI Architects.

Lewis is a registered architect licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia, District of Colombia, and States of Maryland and Florida. He is also a professional member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a LEED Accredited Professional, and is NCARB Certified. He serves as an ICC Certified Plans Reviewer and a Peer Reviewer for Fairfax County. Lewis is a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University where he received a Bachelor of Architecture.
