María F. Farall Joins Wasserman West

Wasserman West announced today the addition of leading Latin American practitioner, María F. Farall, to the Firm’s growing Latin American Practice.

Ms. Farall brings over 20 years of international M&A and corporate experience involving a wide range of industries, including, banking, chemical, oil & gas, hospitality, and technology in Latin America. Ms. Farall, who holds law degrees from both the U.S. and Argentina and is fluent in English and Spanish, regularly advises clients based in the U.S., Europe, and Asia with respect to cross-border Latin American matters.    

Ms. Farall is widely regarded as a leading Latin American expert. Both Chambers Global and Chambers Latin America have cited Ms. Farall as a leading practitioner in corporate/M&A and banking and finance in Latin America. Latinvex has named her one of the “Top 50 Female Lawyers” in Latin America.

Prior to joining Wasserman West, Ms. Farall was a member of a leading Argentine law firm representing U.S. and foreign-based companies investing in Argentina. Before that, Ms. Farall was a partner in the Atlanta office of an international law firm where she headed the firm’s work in Argentina and was one of its Latin American practice leaders. Ms. Farall has served on the Executive Committee of the International Section of the State Bar of Georgia (2014-2015) and as the Committee Vice-Chair (2013-2014). She also served as Advisory Board Member of Latin American Law & Business Report (2006-2013) and authored several articles on Latin American law and practice for that publication.
