Peggy Fenwick, executive manager of the Fenwick Agency in Plano, is leading a community charity effort that promises to help put a stop to brainstem glioma and cancer. Monies raised from the event will be provided to The Cure Starts Now, an international nonprofit that works to eradicate all forms of pediatric cancer.

The Cure Starts Now is dedicated a young girl named Elena who was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer at the age of five. “We are inspired by the story of Elena and the many other young lives taken far too early. We believe that there is a cure out there and want to do everything we can to support the journey to find it,” said Fenwick.

The Fenwick Agency is asking all residents to refer in friends and family members for no cost appraisals on insurance policies. For each person referred in, the firm has pledged to pay a $10 donation to The Cure Starts Now.
