With Patricia Field hosting an event to remember at the renowned and hip rooftop bar, New York City will be a happening place for celebrities and VIPs.

Patricia Field, Costume Designer for the Sex & the City franchise, is hosting a Swim-sational Disco Soiree at 230 Fifth, New York’s largest rooftop garden and penthouse lounge, tonight from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Monday, May 24th marks a week of celebration for Patricia Field and her team of designers, stylists and artists. That evening, the highly anticipated world premier of Sex & the City II at Radio City Music Hall caused mayhem in midtown as fans lined the streets to see the stars and critically acclaimed stylist who have made fashion its most intriguing character.

Of all the clubs in NYC, 230 Fifth provides the perfect atmosphere for high fashion and chic entertainment. When comparing bars in NYC, the event planners instantly decided the style and panache of 230 Fifth would be ideal for the Swim-sational Disco Soiree party.

Patricia will also be honored tonight by The New York Women in Film & Television’s “Designing Women” with the Variety Ensemble Award followed by the Swim-sational Disco Soiree party and fashion show at the Hudson.

Patricia Field is launching Patricia Field/House of Field Eyewear, Swimwear and Beach Towels. The spectacular swimwear fashion show and installation will feature House of Field by David Dalrymple, Ivana Sert (SATC) and The Blonds (of Britney and Rihanna fame). The fashion show will showcase gold fine jewelry by Ippolita, sponsored by World Gold Council and luxury handbags by MCM Worldwide, also a proud sponsor.

Other sponsors include: exclusive shoes by Payless Shoes, custom cocktails by Skyy Vodka (in honor of the Sex and the City II limited edition bottle designed by Ms. Field) and Hair by Redken.

With the stars of the casts of Sex and the City, Ugly Betty, and other VIP’s including Bruce Weber, Zac Posen, Betsey Johnson, Diane Von Furstenberg, Alexander Wang and Katie Perry on the guest list, a large and exciting turnout is expected.
