360training.com, a leading eLearning provider, donated $3,000 generated from the purchase of 232 courses to Cupid’s Undie Run, a charitable cause raising money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation, which is dedicated to ending Neurofibromatosis (NF) through research.

Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. It causes blindness, deafness, learning disabilities, and severe chronic pain. Currently, there is no cure for NF, and there are frighteningly few treatment options. NF affects approximately 1:3,000 births in the U.S. and desperately needs breakthroughs in research. All of the funds raised through Cupid's Undie Run go directly to the Children's Tumor Foundation, the world's largest non-government organization dedicated to ending Neurofibromatosis (NF) through research.

Krista Fredrick, a 360training.com employee who herself has a mild form of NF, initially asked the company to sponsor the event. In fact, it was Krista who helped bring Cupid’s Undie Run to Austin, Texas. She co-organized Austin’s inaugural run and formed the Keep Calm and Cupid On team. In its first year, Austin had over 450 attendees, raised over $30,000 in donations, and received over $13,000 in-kind sponsorships and donations.

Recognizing a worthy cause, 360training.com ran a campaign from January 14 to March 31, 2013, where 10% of the sales that used a discount coupon would be donated to Cupid’s Undie Run. The coupons were valid for all courses provided by 360training.com and its brands, such as OSHAcampus.com, agentcampus.com, and Learn2Serve.

Cupid's Undie Run is a one mile or so run that takes place during Valentine's weekend. Participants don their bedroom-best and run to raise money for the Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF), an organization dedicated to ending Neurofibromatosis.

The Foundation's mission is to promote peer-reviewed research to develop treatments and cures for NF; support persons with NF and their families by making accurate information readily available; to assist in developing clinical centers and best practices to improve access to quality healthcare for those who live with NF; and expand public awareness of NF to improve diagnoses, increase understanding of the challenges that NF presents, and help support for NF research.

360training.com would like to thank all the participants, especially the learners who used the coupons, for making the donations possible. This simple gesture could help end Neurofibromatosis and alleviate the suffering of thousands afflicted with the disease.
