Bullying is the easy road. Make a choice to do something different and challenge yourself to be better. You need to be able to wake up the next day or look back years from now and be happy with the path you took. -Jeff Sutphen
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) April 19, 2012
Yoursphere Media, Inc. today announced that a one-of-a-kind “I Choose” poster, autographed by several young movie and TV stars including those from The Hunger Games, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Good Luck Charlie, will be auctioned off to support its recently launched “I Choose” Anti-Bullying Campaign. Yoursphere Media’s nonprofit, the Foundation and Coalition for Internet Safety Education and Reform (FCISER), introduced the “I Choose” campaign to stars and their families atte ding this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
Jeff Sutphen, host of the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards inaugural Slime Wrestling World Championships and a Yoursphere.com advocate, said: “Bullying is the easy road. Make a choice to do something different and challenge yourself to be better. You need to be able to wake up the next day or look back years from now and be happy with the path you took.”
The “I Choose” Anti-Bullying Campaign, a youth-generated initiative that aims to stop bullying with its thoughtful, proactive approach, received an enthusiastic reception from a multitude of celebrities who were at the Kids’ Choice Awards. Amandla Stenberg of The Hunger Games, Tucker Albrizzi, Good Luck Charlie, Vincent Martella, Phineas and Ferb, Alex Heartman, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Favorite TV Show winner Victorious’ Michael Eric Reid were among those who offered support.
The autographed poster will be auctioned later this spring to build FCISER’s anti-bullying resources for educators. The “I Choose” Challenge Kit, free to teachers across the country, is an anti-bullying education curriculum for schools designed to stimulate conversation.
Yoursphere Media invites other organizations to sign on as supporting partners. More information about the campaign and how to ally with the “I Choose” Anti-Bullying Campaign can be found at WhatDoYouChoose.org. Details about the nonprofit’s fundraising event will be announced later in April.
