I’m looking forward to the challenge of running five races in one weekend and three round trips back and forth from LA to Vegas for practice, qualifying and the races.

Experienced off-road racer and 4 Wheel Parts president and CEO Greg Adler will race his truck this Saturday night at Robby Gordon’s Off-Road Stadium SUPER Trucks in Los Angeles. Coverage of the Stadium SUPER Trucks (SST) event will air Sunday, April 28 from 10 – 11 a.m. PT on the NBC Sports Network. The intriguing part is that Adler is also racing in the Lucas Oil Off Road Series happening this weekend in Las Vegas. Plans are for him to fly back and forth between the two sites with an eye toward the podium of both races.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge of running five races in one weekend and three round trips back and forth from LA to Vegas for practice, qualifying and the races,” says Adler. Transmission troubles plagued Greg at last weekend’s SST event in Long Beach, but he’s hoping to show resiliency in this weekend’s successive races.
Toggling back and forth between the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be the ultimate test of his off-road driving skills. “Racing inside these iconic stadiums is an opportunity I couldn't pass up,” says Adler. This is the third race in the SST series and Adler’s current standing is sixth place with 37 points in his two starts. A $60,000 nightly purse is awarded to winners and a $500,000 purse will be presented to the series champion.
Robby Gordon's Stadium SUPER Trucks Series draws on Mickey Thompson’s Off-Road Championship that proved hugely popular with younger racing enthusiasts. Revisiting the tried and true format of high-octane off-road racing, SST features dirt tracks with massive jumps, gripping crossovers and tight corners. SST revealed its championship trophy will be named after the late Mickey Thompson and 4 Wheel Parts recently announced that Adler will race Pro Comp XTreme tires for this 2013 Inaugural season.
Los Angeles Coliseum spectators will be treated to Stadium SUPER Trucks, Monster Trucks, SUPER Buggy, and SUPER Trophy Kart racing. Each of the dozen Stadium SST events this year will be televised via tape delay and televised on NBC. Upcoming stadium venues include Qualcomm Stadium (San Diego, Calif.), Edward Jones Dome (St. Louis, Mo.), Soldier Field (Chicago, Ill.), the Georgia Dome (Atlanta, Ga.), the Stadium SUPER Truck Finals (Las Vegas, Nev.), and one to-be-named international event.
