TrangoLINK® GigaPro provides unmatched flexibility for high-speed carrier backhaul networks. The dual modem system allows dual channel frequency and dual polarization configurations on a single antenna, making licensing in congested environments achievable and more cost effective.
The system supports several modes of operation to fit a wide range of network applications including bonded channel (2+0) for doubling capacity, East/West mode for relay links and 1+1 link redundancy. All modes support hitless adaptive coding modulation (ACM) providing extremely high system gains and allowing higher speeds to be used over longer paths.
Building upon the field-proven TrangoLINK® Giga design, the GigaPro supports licensed frequency bands from 6 to 38 GHz and features additional interfaces including dual STM-1 interfaces, dual SFP pluggable format, up to 32 T1/E1 circuits, and engineering order wire (EOW) T1/E1. The system is IP-native, SDH-native, and PDH-native for unmatched flexibility in handling mixed/hybrid traffic and a smooth evolution to all-IP services.
