Almost every week we get an email or Facebook post from someone in another country asking us to sell the mamaRoo there.
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) July 29, 2011
Since its debut in May of 2010, 4moms’ innovative mamaRoo infant seat has become a “must-have” baby product for parents in the United States and Canada. Now, 4moms is pleased to announce the mamaRoo is on its way to becoming a staple for families around the globe.
Including over 500 stores in the US and Canada, the mamaRoo is currently selling in six countries: Mexico, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and China. Distributors in eight more countries have the mamaRoo on order: Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Turkey, Poland, Greece, Russia, and Japan. Launches are planned for the next few months, with 4moms’ distribution partners in South Africa, Turkey, Russia, and Greece slated to begin sales before October. Distributors in Spain, Portugal, Poland, and Japan plan to launch the mamaRoo before the end of 2011.
“We’re tremendously excited to get the mamaRoo to more parents around the world,” says Damon Claus, International Sales Executive at 4moms. “Almost every week we get an email or Facebook post from someone in another country asking us to sell the mamaRoo there, and we’re working to grant those wishes as quickly as we can.”
This year, 4moms will attend the international Kind+Jugend expo for the first time, and will showcase the mamaRoo as well as their power-folding Origami stroller. Kind+Jugend is the world’s largest juvenile products trade show, and will be held September 15-18 in Cologne, Germany.
About the mamaRoo
The only infant seat of its kind, the mamaRoo takes a unique approach to motion: it moves “like you do.” Combining sleek, modern design with an innovative approach to motion, and with features like adjustable speeds and an mp3 hookup, the mamaRoo offers parents a better option for soothing and entertaining their children.
Frequently referred to as “the Apple of the juvenile industry,” 4moms began with a focus group of five moms from Mt. Lebanon, PA, who inspired the company’s name (but 4moms sounds better than 5moms, so one mother took the title “The Stealth Mom”). Their experience, plus the expertise of a team of twenty-two engineers, researchers, and developers gives 4moms its innovative edge in the field of juvenile product design.
4moms is a brand of Thorley Industries LLC, a 5-year-old company that develops and markets products for the $7.0 billion juvenile products industry. For more specifics on all 4moms’ products, visit http://www.4moms.com
