A Course In Miracles Lifts the Barriers of Time and Space in Cape Town
(Vocus/PRWEB ) September 13, 2009 -- The highly acclaimed, Wisconsin-made independent documentary, "A Course In Miracles Unleashed: A Direct Encounter With Jesus Christ In The Evolution and Enlightenment of The Human Species", is being screened in Cape Town, South Africa, as part of "A Course In Miracles Experience In Cape Town", a series of events featuring illuminate teacher, Christina "Greta" Jonker.

The event which began Saturday is an invitation to the unspeakable experience of direct contact with God through the practice of Forgiveness as taught by Jesus Christ in A Course In Miracles.
According to Greta Jonker, "the one thing I realized in the experience of my own enlightenment is that we are not bodies. We are in fact one mind and I was shown, as Jesus says in the Course that, 'the body is a limit imposed on the universal communication that is an eternal property of mind. But the communication is internal. Mind reaches to itself. It is not made up of different parts, which reach each other. It does not go out. Within itself it has no limits, and there is nothing outside it. It encompasses everything. It encompasses you entirely; you within it and it within you. There is nothing else, anywhere or ever.' This is the good news."
"It is astonishing," continued Jonker, "to realize the truth of Jesus' statement that, 'The body is outside you, and but seems to surround you, shutting you off from others and keeping you apart from them, and them from you. It is not there. There is no barrier between God and His Son, nor can His Son be separated from Himself except in illusions. This is not his reality, though he believes it is. Yet this could only be if God were wrong. God would have had to create differently, and to have separated Himself from His Son to make this possible. He would have had to create different things, and to establish different orders of reality, only some of which were love. Yet love must be forever like itself, changeless forever, and forever without alternative. And so it is. You cannot put a barrier around yourself, because God placed none between Himself and you.' To know that, is to know your Self as you truly are. "You can stretch out your hand and reach to Heaven. That's what we will be doing in Cape Town."
Jonker expressed her excitement at screening A Course In Miracles Unleashed as, "the movie is all about the experience of awakening engendered by the Course. It really helps the spiritual aspirant see that this transformation is a real happening in the present moment, and requires nothing more than a willingness to let the miracle occur."
