Zia Healthcare Consultants and PSCI Solutions have joined forces to deliver a webinar for health care providers committed to leading transformation in the era of accountable care. They will use case study data to demonstrate how innovative solutions and change management can help improve the quality and reduce the cost of healthcare.

The webinar titled “Organizational Change! Easy to talk about, but tough to Accomplish and tougher to Sustain” will focus on optimizing organizational performance management through comprehensive measurement, targeted interventions, and deliberate culture change. In addition, the presenters, many of whom have over two decades in the healthcare industry, will show how to institutionalize the change with collaborative, data-driven decision-making process environments.

The upcoming webinar is the cornerstone of a five part webinar series directed at the healthcare industry to illustrate how a groundbreaking decision support solution can be used to stratify populations by their state-of-health. Unlike claims-based systems, PSCI’s system uses near real-time encounter data and is able to be applied across the continuum of care in both acute and ambulatory settings. PSCI’s clients are using this information to improve health outcomes and lower healthcare costs.

Chris Selecky, Principal at ZIA Healthcare Consultants says, “We help healthcare leaders build organizations that embed data-driven change into the DNA of their companies.” Mitch Kusy, PhD, also a Zia Principal and an internationally recognized change management expert, adds that “transformation is just not possible if organizations are unwilling to systematically manage the process of change. It is hard work, but necessary, if hoped for changes are to become institutionalized and therefore, sustained.” Jay Reddy, CEO PSCI comments that, “Our customers want us to help them with the softer side of organizational transformation enabled with data-driven technologies. We are glad to partner with experienced leaders from ZIA to help meet this need”.

Reddy continues, “The use of near real-time patient health records from EMRs along with financial claims data, allows administrators, physicians and clinicians to understand the total cost drivers associated with patient care across the continuum-of-care. However, if the culture isn’t ready for the changes in today’s Accountable Care era, the adoption of the very best practices will not be best realized or sustained. What we’re sharing in this informative webinar are ways to dramatically impact the healthcare cost and quality curves while enabling buy-in and adoption of clinical, operational and physician staff.”
