Carpentersville, IL (PRWEB) June 13, 2012

Acme Industrial Company has announced that it is now manufacturing threaded inserts with integral locking keys to meet NAS1394 and NAS1395 specifications. These threaded insert products are manufactured in 303 stainless steel, A286 or 4140 material. A full range of miniature inch sizes are available in both self locking and non-self locking configurations.

Although a long-established product, many military design specifications still call for integral key inserts versus the more common non-integral keys. Integral keys provide resistance to rotation when keys are driven down by an installation tool. The inserts meet NAS1394 and NAS1395.

Acme Industrial Company, a major manufacturer of threaded inserts, drill bushing products, and key locking studs, was founded in 1914. Its products are specified throughout industry, including aerospace, and military applications. Acme Industrial Company has an ISO 9001:2008 registered quality system.
