Richmond, Virginia (PRWEB) November 14, 2008 -- In past episodes of Man Caves, Acoustical Solutions, Inc. has supplied SoundSuede acoustical wall panels to enhance the acoustic quality in a home theater in Massachusetts. In this week's episode, Acoustical Solutions, Inc. has teamed up with the DYI Network's Man Caves again to provide soundproofing in the lounge by using Green Glue™ and Sonex™ acoustical foam.
Jose Mangin wanted a Man Cave of his own that could be fully devoted to his passion for music. The first goal for the space was to soundproof the walls and ceilings so that he could rock at any hour of the day or night without disturbing the rest of the family upstairs. During the drywalling stages of this project, Acoustical Solutions delivered Green Glue Sound Dampening Compound to be used between the multiple layers of drywall being installed in the rock and roll lounge to soundproof this rock and roll lounge from the rest of the house. Secondly, he wanted high quality sound within his Man Cave when he was playing. Acoustical Solutions delivered on this goal as well. Three boxes of Sonex Classic acoustical foam arrived at the house and DIY Network's host Jason Cameron easily installed the acoustical foam along with the help of the homeowner to remove the excessive reverberation levels that existed in the room. The end result was a rock and roll lounge that even the most experienced rocker would proudly play in.
The Rock-and-Roll Lounge Man Caves episode airs on November 18, at 9:00 PM Eastern Time on the DIY Network.
