Twingos are new to the UK - we're really excited that Renault have agreed to let us have the GT versions

Renault UK has announced they'll be sending the new Twingo GT to Rockingham for the Adrian Flux French Car Show. Not just for display, but for action, too: the cars will be put through their paces by the Paul Swift precision driving team - so expect stunts, speed and close shaves.

"Twingos are new to the UK - we're really excited that Renault have agreed to let us have the GT versions," says show organiser Mark Dow. "The fact that they've also agreed to let Paul and his team give them some stick is really upping the ante."

"The huge range of motoring-themed events makes the Show a great day out for everyone," says Gerry Bucke of sponsors Adrian Flux Insurance Services. "It attracts petrol heads and motoring enthusiasts, families and anyone who likes their entertainment mixed with a bit of adrenalin."    

Entry to the VIP lounge is by ticket, costing £10 on the day, and includes loads of additional exclusive goodies, ranging from complimentary snacks and drinks (served by the beautiful Flux Babes) through Meguiar's giveaways to a £25 Adrian Flux insurance discount voucher. Being right on top of the Grandstand the lounge has spectacular panoramic views of the Rockingham straight, so ticket-holders will catch all the action.

For F1 fans there's another attraction - the French Grand Prix, live on the big screen, in the Adrian Flux VIP lounge. And if you want the Internet angle on the action, the lounge will have free wireless broadband for all.

This year's Adrian Flux French Car Show promises another feast of cars, action and French motor-mania, with maxed-up motors, club areas, traders, track events and competitions, plus the opportunity to drive round the Rockingham circuit and its 150mph-banked curves. There are loads of adrenalin-charged shows and events planned, including a visit from the Driftworks team, who'll be demonstrating the wonderful world of drifting with stunts and races.

Other attractions include:

•     The Paul Swift precision driving team - burning rubber, j-turns, doughnuts, some serious drifting and ludicrously high speed parallel parking. The team will be performing twice during the day.
•     The FluX Factor Babes - the girl team gets hotter as new Flux Babes make their debut at Rockingham. The girls are winners of the FluX Factor competition and they'll be handing out special Show gift bags stuffed with mugs, pens, posters and other goodies.
•     The Adrian Flux Games Arena - featuring a giant Scalextric rig plus all sorts of fast and furious activities like Wii, penalty shootouts, table footie and table tennis. The Arena is in the garages on the Inner Paddock and Flux is offering some great prizes for the highest scores.
•     Free popcorn and candyfloss - as much as you can eat, courtesy of the Flux popcorn and candyfloss carts. You'll find them in the Inner Paddock Trade Village.
