Affinity4 Participates in 89th Annual COGIC Holy Convocation

The 89th Annual Convocation was held on August 7-13 at the Hampton University Convocation Center in Hampton, VA. The Virginia 2nd Jurisdiction COGIC led the convocation with the guidance of Bishop Samuel L. Green, Jr. The theme of his talk, 'Saints in Battle,' set the tone for the week. Monday evening, August 7, featured the dynamic Bishop T.D. Jakes of The Potter's House in Dallas, TX.

Norfolk, VA (PRWEB) October 1, 2006 -- Virginia 2nd Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ (COGIC) is an official nonprofit partner with Affinity4. A multi-media and multi-faceted campaign has been launched to raise thousands of dollars to serve the needs of the ministries of COGIC under the leadership of Bishop Samuel L. Green Jr. Affinity4 provides a 'New Standard for Giving' for ministries and nonprofits across the United States where over $75 million dollars has been raised for nonprofit partners.

The 89th Annual Convocation was held on August 7-13 at the Hampton University Convocation Center in Hampton, VA. The event was an all-around success for COGIC and it's supporters.
The Affinity4 FastStart Program was introduced by Bishop Green from the stage. He explained that COGIC would receive $10.00 for each signup of Affinity4 services at the Convocation on Monday, August 7. Affinity4 had a presence with an exhibit booth, brochures and Affinity4 representatives offering the unique 10% GiveBack program. CEO of Affinity4, Steve Halliday remarked, "The event was an all-around success for COGIC and it's supporters."

Bishop Paul S. Morton of New Orleans, Louisiana was in attendance. He testified of surviving the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in his message of 'How Big are your Giants?' Speakers throughout the week including Dr. Jamal Bryant of Baltimore, Sheryl Brady of North Carolina and Bishop Samuel L. Green Jr. provided the nearly 10,000 conference attendees the excitement and spirit to win the 'Battle of the Saints'. A Gospel Concert featuring Tye Tribbett and the Canton Spirituals offered a vocal praise to culminate the Convocation.
