This will be accomplished by enacting religious laws contrary to the Bible.
"The thirteenth chapter of Revelation speaks of a significant nation that will play an important role in instigating the last day events. In this prophecy, God has set forth four defining characteristics of that nation," says Dahlia Doss of World's Last Chance.
"The first is that the nation must rise to existence around 1798. Second, it must rise from an area of land that is scarcely populated. Third, the nation must be governed by two separate powers. And fourth, despite its alleged dedication to liberty and peace, this nation will be dogmatic and constraining."
World's Last Chance claims that the United States of America is the only nation to which all four of these identification marks apply. It states that according to this prophecy the U.S. will enforce National Sunday Observance inspiring the entire world to follow its example. This universal mandate will require obedience to a law which is contrary to God's fourth commandment to 'Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy'. All who submit to this law will receive the 'mark of the beast'.
"More and more, as government infringes on religion, the grounds for passage of this Sunday Law foretold in Bible prophecy are being established," states Doss.
"The Bible is infallible because it is God's word and it is impossible for any Bible-believer to ignore the book of Revelation, the most important prophetic book in the Bible. In light of the turbulent times we are living in, it is every person's duty to study Revelation and share its warnings with others."
