Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) June 28, 2012
The 4th of July is a holiday closely associated with picnics, with fireworks, with parades—and, for many families, with cookouts. Artisano’s Oils & Spices is celebrating the pinnacle of the summer grilling season with a variety of marinades, rubs, and spices, all created with cookouts in mind. Additionally, the store has unveiled a set of new monthly specials, available at farmers markets across the Indianapolis area.
According to David Burcham, the owner of Artisano’s Oils & Spices, Independence Day is a holiday tailor-made for his store and its unique selection of wares. “This is really one of the high points of the summer grilling season, and our store boasts an incredible array of products that will appeal to grillers of all kinds,” Burcham says. “Artisano’s proudly offers more than 400 spices, and during this time of year we delight in putting our best grilling rubs and marinades out, front and center.”
Throughout the rest of the summer, Artisano’s will be offering a number of grilling ingredients that Burcham describes as the perfect seasonings for any on-the-grill meals or cookouts. “Artisano’s has a Texas steak rub that is sure to appeal to any steak lovers in the Indianapolis area,” Burcham notes. Not all of these festive products are made with meat-eaters in mind, however. “We also have a delicious lime pepper seasoning, which makes for an incredible fish rub,” affirms Burcham.
In addition to these in-store house specialties, Artisano’s has also unveiled a couple of brand new monthly specials—not available in the store, but only at local farmers markets, where Burcham and his staff maintain an active presence. These new specials include a pineapple balsamic and a lemongrass mint balsamic.
According to Burcham, “farmers markets are, in their own way, as important to a great summer experience as Independence Day itself,” and as such Artisano’s is continuing its presence at many local farmers markets throughout the Indianapolis region. Burcham and his team have booths set up at the Binford, Broad Ripple, Fishers, Carmel, Zionsville, and Irvington farmers markets, where the monthly special balsamics, as well as other season favorites, are available at discounted rates.
“Summer is just a great time to be a food lover,” Burcham concludes. “There are so many occasions for festive and seasonal flavors, and Artisano’s is happy to provide a diverse selection of them, to foodies and chefs throughout Indianapolis.”
