BMA Affordable Assisted Living Community To Host Senior Scams Seminar

Heritage Woods of DeKalb, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is hosting a Senior Scams Seminar at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20.

The community, which is located at 2626 N. Annie Glidden Rd. in DeKalb, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.

"We invite you to come and learn steps that older adults can take to avoid scams and fraud," says Susan Vasquez, Director of Marketing for Heritage Woods of DeKalb.

The seminar is open to the public. Refreshments will be served. There is no charge to attend.

Heritage Woods of DeKalb recently was named a Caring Star of 2013 senior care service award winner by Caring.com, a national on-line senior care search website.

Heritage Woods of DeKalb is fully certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.
