BMA Management, Ltd., has opened a Sales Office for the Heritage Woods affordable assisted living community that is being developed in Freeport, Illinois.
The community, which is scheduled to open for occupancy this summer, is being developed through a joint venture between BMA and the Stephenson County Nursing Center Foundation.
"We are now accepting reservations for the apartments," says Kelly Ziemer Hillan, who has been appointed to serve as Administrator of Heritage Woods of Freeport.
The community will be located on more than five acres of property on the southwest corner of West Pearl City Rd. and South Forest Rd. in Freeport.
Hillan most recently served as Executive Director of the Senior Resource Center, an agency that provides a wide vareity of programs and services to adults 55 and older in northwest Illinois.
"We invite you to visit our temporary Sales Office to learn about the wonderful lifestyle that will be available at Heritage Woods for older adults who need some help to maintain their independence," says Hillan.
The community will serve adults 65 and older of all incomes, including those on Medicaid or who only receive Social Security benefits.
The temporary Sales Office is located in Lincoln Mall, near the Senior Resource Center, at 1243 W. Galena Ave., Suite A, in Freeport.

The $12 million development will house 76 studio and one-bedroom apartments as well as a variety of community areas.
Each of the private apartments will feature a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, and an emergency alert system.
Certified nursing assistants will be on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide residents with personal assistance and help with medications. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.
In addition, residents will benefit from all of the opportunities that will be available to socialize with friends and neighbors and participate in activities and special programs.
Heritage Woods of Freeport will be certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and will be managed by BMA Management, the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.
