Friends in Harmony will be performing at the John Evans Supportive Living community in Pekin, Illinois, at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13.
“We invite you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to see the Friends in Harmony civic choir perform,” says Bridget Rumler, Director of Marketing for John Evans Supportive Living, which is located at 1320 Executive Ct.
The performance promises to feature traditional favorites, current hits, lush harmonies, comedy and much more, says Rumler.
There is no charge to attend, but seating is limited so call 309-477-8800 for more information.
The John Evans Supportive Living community serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence but do not require skilled nursing care.
The community is owned by the Laborers Home Development Corporation and managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.
“Our focus is on providing residents with the love, compassion and dignity that they deserve in addition to the care and personal assistance that they need,” says Rumler. “Our emphasis is on helping residents achieve and maintain as much independence as possible for as long as possible.”
The community recently celebrated its 5th Anniversary of serving older adults.
“We offer a wonderful alternative to living in a nursing home or to struggling alone at home,” says Rumler.
Residents live in private apartments and receive personal assistance and help with medications. Each of the apartments features a kitchenette; spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars; and an emergency alert system.
Certified nursing assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Meals, housekeeping and laundry services are among the included services.
Based in Bradley, Illinois, BMA operates 36 senior living communities housing more than 3,300 homes and apartments.
The communities managed by BMA include the Grand Prairie affordable assisted living community in Macomb, Illinois; the Heritage Woods affordable assisted living community in Aledo, Dwight, Moline and Ottawa, Illinois; and the Bridle Brook assisted living and memory care community in Champaign County.
