"Turner did a lot of the legwork to help her get into school and to come and play for us," he said. "She ended up playing for me for two years."
Anthony Lynn thought that he didn't have a chance at a scholarship after a serious neck injury playing football. Turner worked with him for months and basically taught him the game of baseball, which led to a scholarship at a Texas college.
"He worked with me and cultivated my talent," Lynn said. "I didn't think I would be able to go to college."
