Atlanta Chevrolet Dealership Hits Home Run Sponsoring Local Youth Baseball League

Jim Ellis Chevrolet donates over $2,000 in cash and sports equipment to Murphey Candler Little League in the Atlanta metro area.

Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) September 30, 2009 -- Jim Ellis Chevrolet is one of 40 Chevrolet dealers from the Atlanta area that partnered with local youth baseball leagues and helped raise close to $120,540 in total donations. During the 2009 baseball season, Murphey Candler Little League received both monetary and equipment donations as well as the opportunity to raise up to $10,000 through a unique fundraiser.

Another exciting component of Chevy Youth Baseball was the youth baseball clinics led by Ripken Baseball with the Braves at Turner Field which provided the youth with personalized instruction from the pros. Thanks to Jim Ellis Chevrolet and the other participating Chevrolet dealers in the Atlanta area, youth league members had the opportunity to attend this baseball clinic with professional instructors.
