Au Pair Care, the leading au pair agency that provides affordable, live-in child care services to American families, will be volunteering at the 28th Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 15th. Au pairs, staff, and host families from across northern California will be participating in five different cleanup events across the state. The events will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and are open to the public.

California Coastal Cleanup Day, an annual beach and inland waterway cleanup, is the state's largest volunteer event. In 2010, more than 82,000 volunteers removed more than 1.2 million pounds of trash and recyclables from California beaches, lakes and waterways. This year, the event is taking place in conjunction with International Coastal Cleanup, organized by the Ocean Conservancy, and taking place on the same day.
