By including AvePoint solutions in the Digital Marketplace, government agencies can harness the power of the cloud without being slowed down by a traditional procurement process.
London (PRWEB) December 01, 2015
AvePoint, the established leader in enabling enterprise collaboration across platforms and devices, announced today its management and migration solutions for Microsoft Office 365 have been accepted into the G-Cloud framework in the United Kingdom.
The initiative is targeted at easing the procurement process for United Kingdom public sector agencies of information technology that use cloud computing. G-Cloud uses its framework agreements with a large number of service providers, and lists those services on a publicly accessible portal known as the Digital Marketplace. Public Sector organisations can select from the services listed on the Digital Marketplace without needing to go through a full tender process.
“In light of recent government cloud initiatives and the need to offer better citizen engagement, public sector organisations face a series of important choices when modifying their IT operations,” said Aaron Cross, UK Public Sector Sales Director, AvePoint. “By including AvePoint solutions in the Digital Marketplace, government agencies can harness the power of the cloud without being slowed down by a traditional procurement process.”
AvePoint’s solutions for Office 365 are a part of AvePoint Online Services – the industry’s first and only 100 percent Microsoft Azure-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for Office 365, which makes the transition to Office 365 and Microsoft Azure easier, quicker, and smarter, and is trusted by more than 3 million users worldwide. The following AvePoint products are now included in G-Cloud’s Digital Marketplace:
- DocAve Online enables organisations to easily extend cloud computing and efficiently respond to evolving business requirements. By offering granular content protection, audit reporting, and capabilities to restrict access to and sharing of SharePoint Online sites and OneDrive for Business content, DocAve Online allows organisations to maintain the same level of protection and control over their cloud-based assets as they expect with on-premises solutions.
- DocAve High Speed Migration for Office 365 enables organisations to overcome technical limitations including bandwidth throttling, network latency, and information security concerns to begin taking advantage of Microsoft’s collaboration solutions in the cloud up to five times faster. Part of the award-winning DocAve Software Platform, DocAve High Speed Migration for Office 365 provides an efficient and cost-effective solution for migrating business-critical content to SharePoint Online.
