West Hollywood’s Chic Art & Design District Hosts Second Annual Holiday Shopping Night
Join Local Designers, Global Fashion Houses, Art Galleries and Restaurants for a Night of Holiday Glamour
West Hollywood, Calif. (Vocus/PRWEB ) November 6, 2009 -- The Avenues of Art & Design has announced that its second annual Holiday Shopping Night will be held the evening of Thursday, December 10 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Shoppers are invited to stroll through The Avenues and enjoy extended hours, special discounts, hors d’ouevres, beverages and signature gifts at participating businesses. Visitors can expect a festive atmosphere complete with decorations, lights, music, and carolers and Santas roaming the district. Restaurants including Cecconi’s, Lemonade, Sur, Petrossian Paris and Le Pain Quotidien will welcome shoppers with special menus and holiday treats.
The Avenues of Art & Design – a business improvement district consisting of Melrose Ave., Robertson Blvd. and Beverly Blvd. in the city of West Hollywood – is considered the West Coast’s premier high-end destination for fashion, interior design, art and cuisine. Combining fashion and design with a neighborhood atmosphere, the district boasts pedestrian-friendly streets and more than 300 unique businesses, with the Pacific Design Center as the district’s anchor. In The Avenues, global fashion houses such as Balenciaga, Alberta Ferretti, 3.1 Philip Lim and Christian Louboutin mingle with local boutiques, galleries and interior design showrooms.
The Holiday Shopping Night on The Avenues provides the perfect opportunity to explore this neighborhood and enjoy a dose of holiday glamour and exceptional hospitality. Personal shoppers will be available to help gift-givers navigate their way through The Avenues, and gift-wrapping stations throughout the district will wrap shoppers’ purchases for a small charitable donation. Shoppers will also be able to enjoy complimentary cocktails from Ocean Vodka, Hawaii’s premium glacial water vodka. Pacific Design Center is offering a special $10 parking rate for the event.
