Global summit to be held in the Philippines

Manila, Philippines (PRWeb UK/PRWEB ) October 1, 2009 -- The Philippines is staking out a leadership role in BPO as the preferred location in the fastest-growing industry in the world. In line with its new role as an influential stakeholder in BPO, the Business Processing Association of the Philippines is hosting a groundbreaking global summit entitled International Outsourcing Summit: Global Market Leaders Addressing Global Issues on October 20-21 in Manila.

The conference is supported by the Department of Tourism and the Commission on Information and Communications Technology, and organized by strategic marketing communications firm, TeamAsia.

The summit aims to bring together industry stakeholders to examine ongoing and expected changes in the industry, especially with the emergence of higher-value services, in addition to the current challenges of cost, geography, and labor. The conference provides a platform for global partnerships within BPO as well as aligned industries such as network infrastructure, human resources, education, and real estate.

Industry leaders from over 10 countries, top policy specialists and analysts, and influential representatives from the academe and telecoms are expected to discuss topics such as talent strategies, emerging outsourcing sectors, and location insights. Speakers include the NASSCOM, Russia Software Association, Ministry of Communications - Mexico, Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization, European Outsourcing Association, DPC Data Incorporated, Deloitte, McKinsey & Co., and representatives of the Philippine BPO community and its associated industries.
