Glasscubes has Solution for BT Workspace Customers

BT is closing its BT Workspace service down as of 20th November 2009 and Glasscubes is providing the perfect alternative solution for the small and medium sized users.

London, UK (PRWeb UK/PRWEB ) October 26, 2009 -- BT is closing its BT Workspace service down as of 20th November 2009.

BT Workspace was a collaborative project between BT and US-based SMBLive which provided small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with online workspaces based on Microsoft SharePoint technology. The service allowed businesses to easily share information and manage documents for free or a relatively low cost.

However, SMBLive have announced that from 20th November 2009 the service will be closed. SMBLive is collaborating with Glasscubes to provide an alternative to Workspace and make the transition as smooth as possible. UK-based Glasscubes is an excellent alternative. Glasscubes' simplicity and usability are outstanding.

Glasscubes offer the same features as BT Workspace - private workspaces to share documents, calendars, tasks and discussions, a branded online place to manage projects and centralise customer data (contacts, sales leads and issues). In addition to these functionalities Glasscubes also provides free conference calls, a higher level of storage and most importantly, people who you can speak to if you have difficulties.

To make the transition as seamless as possible, Glasscubes will support the migration from Workspace to Glasscubes.

Glasscubes' Managing Director Wayne Pope speaking about the closing of Workspace accounts said, "We initially created Glasscubes to address the needs of small businesses in the UK and globally. In this difficult economic environment, SMBs face tremendous challenges. The opportunity to collaborate with SMBLive on this transition gives us an opportunity to demonstrate that our customers are our number one priority. We are there to make working easier for them, and we will continue to do so."
