London, UK (PRWEB) December 17, 2009

BandCentral is excited to confirm their selection to showcase at the inaugural MidemNet Lab, at the MIDEM music conference in Cannes, France, from 23rd – 27th January 2010.

The MidemNet Lab will shine a spotlight on 15 of the brightest start-ups bringing innovative digital solutions to the music industry.

Hand-picked by leaders in the field, including Music Ally, Spotify, Seesmic, SoundCloud, Topspin and Hype Machine, the MidemNet Lab will serve as a ‘form guide’ for the start-ups set to make waves in the digital music industry in 2010.

BandCentral's acceptance into the MidemNet Lab - the highest endorsement for a music-tech start-up - comes as more great news for the company who, in their first year of operation, have been heralded as the 'basecamp for bands' by social media bible Mashable, nominated for a UK Festival Award for their sponsorship activity at the Summer Sundae Weekender Festival and represented the UK on a digital mission to New York organised by Chinwag and the UKTI.

In 2009, BandCentral established themselves as the industry standard for online band management. The eagerly anticipated BandCentral V2 release is set for January 2010 and will be showcased at MIDEM. The upgraded system will include detailed new music and merch management systems and cutting edge enhancements to those features BandCentral users know and love.

Conceived and created by professional Bassist and Digital Creative, Wil Padley, BandCentral gives bands their very own online ‘Band HUB’ with all the tools they need to communicate with each other, store files, syndicate social networks, manage gigs, merch, music, money, fans, contacts and everything else associated with their band in one central, secure and instantly accessible place.

By centralising all aspects of a band's management activity, BandCentral encourages greater collaboration between the band, band manager and third parties (such as producers, promoters or roadies) and minimizes the effort required to complete day-to-day admin tasks.

For BandCentral CEO, Wil Padley, "BandCentral's inclusion in the MidemNet Lab is fantastic news for us as we march towards our first birthday."

"We have some pretty awesome features coming out in January and are really looking forward to sharing them with the music industry at Midem. The system is going from strength to strength thanks to the invaluable daily feedback from our users and our brilliant team. 2009 has been extremely promising for BandCentral and our selection to showcase in the MidemNet Lab is another clear indication that the application is the band management tool the industry is looking for."
