For this year’s PestWorld, Environmental Science, a division of Bayer CropScience, is planning a larger-than-life show presence, fit with an opening ceremony address, dynamic experience at its trade show booth, and the introduction of its first product in a naturals line of products in the professional pest management industry, among other activities.

At PestWorld 2012, Bayer will announce its entry into the naturals market with the launch of Harmonix® Insect Spray, the first in a line of naturals solutions, that features a longer residual, lasting five times longer than competitive natural products.

“The launch of the Harmonix brand is a milestone for Bayer,” said Chris Pienaar, director of business operations for Environmental Science, and the Bayer respresentative giving the opening ceremony remarks. “It’s also a testament to us living our vision to transform the future of pest management and bring more flexible, efficient and sustainable approaches to the market.”

In addition to Harmonix Insect Spray, Bayer plans to feature several other signature products at its booth (#1805), including the Maxforce® system, Suspend PolyZone®, and Temprid®. Attendees who visit the booth also will have an opportunity to learn more about Bayer‘s Temprid Save the Day Contest, in which PMPs shared their stories of when Temprid helped them ‘save the day’ for a customer. Those who vote for their favorite story will have a chance to win a free case of Temprid. PMPs can view the video submissions at http://www.mytempridstory.com.

At the Bayer booth, attendees will also experience the new look and feel of Bayer’s Maxforce brand. The company recently re-introduced its family of Maxforce roach baits as an easily navigable three-part system that helps PMPs better select the right Maxforce bait, no matter the control situation at hand – clean out, maintenance, or rotation. Bayer believes this more simplified Maxforce system will help PMPs improve their effectiveness in battling roach issues and contribute to a more profitable and sustainable business.

Bayer also plans to participate in the Professional Women In Pest Management 5K Run/Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness on October 17. A team of Bayer employees and friends are ready to run and walk their way to raising money and awareness for the cause.

“Our community is such a big part of who we are, and what drives us,” said Pienaar. “Supporting members of our industry who are battling breast cancer is something we feel compelled and privileged to do – and we hope to see many other members of our industry at the starting line with us.”
