QSI Corporation, manufacturer of industrial human machine interface (HMI) and mobile data terminals based in the United States, announced on Friday, October 22, 2010 it had been acquired by Beijer Electronics. Beijer Electronics is a publicly traded company out of Malmo, Sweden with offices in sixteen countries around the world. Their HMI Products business area is best known for their iX Software platform and their reliable line of HMI terminals.

QSI Corporation will be known as Beijer Electronics, Inc., and become the North American subsidiary of Beijer Electronics. The company will continue to offer its rugged line of terminals in both the industrial and vehicle markets along with Beijer Electronics' hardware and software.
