Bettcher Industries, Inc. announces the appointment of Keith Moffitt as Eastern Regional Sales Representative.
Birmingham, OH (Vocus/PRWEB ) October 30, 2008 -- Bettcher Industries, Inc. announces the appointment of Keith A. Moffitt as the company's Eastern Regional Sales Representative. In this position, Moffitt will be responsible for sales and service activities for Bettcher's Whizard® Trimmer and AirShirz® scissors product lines. He will support customers located in the Eastern United States, including the Delmarva Region, North Carolina, New Jersey and Eastern New York, plus New England.

Moffitt has nearly 20 years of experience in the food processing industry, most recently at Del Monte Fresh Produce where he held the position of operations manager at the company's Greensboro, NC facility. Moffitt has also served as debone plant superintendent, breast debone supervisor and cut-up supervisor at the Gold Kist Farms facility in Siler City, NC where his responsibilities included the oversight of 350 workers. In addition to his supervisory and managerial background, Moffitt has extensive experience in QA/QC activities, and holds HACCP certification.
Earlier in his career, Moffitt was a self-employed poultry producer for nearly 15 years, giving him important hands-on experience in profitably managing the full scope of poultry production ranging from feed procurement to equipment and ventilation requirements, as well as compliance with government agencies.
