Bigfoot CMMS 1.6, slated for release in December 2015, enhances the system’s existing robust notification functionality with more automated options and configurations in order to increase proactive maintenance communications.

Smartware Group, Inc., provider of maintenance management solutions for asset-intensive organizations, announces the new release of Bigfoot CMMS Enterprise and Enterprise+ 1.6 to all users. This EAM latest version enhances the system’s existing robust notification functionality with more automated options and configurations in order to increase proactive maintenance communications. Bigfoot CMMS Enterprise and Enterprise+ 1.6 is slated for release in December 2015.

In this release, users can set up the automatic e-mailing of Bigfoot reports to expedite the review of critical information by personnel on a regularly-scheduled basis. Automatic e-mail notifications also may be configured for work orders that have not been modified within a designated time period. In addition, Release 1.6 provides increased visibility into user record modifications – from dashboard views of previously-altered records to audit log access to all record modifications, including deletions.

“Today’s maintenance environment mandates efficiency and effectiveness across the enterprise,” says Paul Lachance, President and CTO of Smartware Group. “By continually refining a user’s capability to automate and configure much of their CMMS for better communications, Smartware Group strives to empower maintenance professionals so they can focus more on operational goals and less on administrative tasks.”

Other areas of enhancement in Release 1.6 include improved location-based functionality, such as the ability to assign criticality levels for specific locations, and the addition of “Work Order Solutions.” This functionality allows users to specify solutions for corrective work orders based on pre-defined problem codes for easier and faster repairs.
