Well known Utah white water rafting outfit, Holiday River Expeditions, is expanding its lineup of trips to include four new and very exciting rafting vacations on the Salmon River in Idaho.

The first trip is called the New Ultimate Idaho Adventure and it takes place from July 16-24 and Aug 17-25 this year. This is a nine day trip combines two premier Salmon River Canyons; beginning with the Main Salmon River and ending with the Lower Salmon River Canyon . Rafters will experience heart thumping whitewater for five days that includes big sandy beaches where rafters will camp out each night. On day six, rafters will put-in at Hammer Creek and run some thrilling rapids in Green Canyon, moving on into Cougar, Snowhole and Blue Canyons. There will be plenty of time for hiking and sight-seeing in the side canyons. This 9-day trip is perfect for the active adventure seekers in the family.

The second new trip is called the All Paddle Trip and it takes place from July 26-29 in the Salmon River Canyons of Idaho. This is for the true adventure seekers that must be in great physical shape for this whitewater rafting vacation. Count on getting wet and getting a great workout! This trip features thrilling Class III and IV rapids.

The third new trip is called the All Inflatable Kayak and it is offered from Aug 11-14 through the Salmon River Canyons of Idaho. These small inflatable one person boats allows rafters to enjoy the river on their own and add action and excitement to their trip. Enjoy amazing scenery and exhilarating whitewater.

The fourth and last new trip takes place from Aug 3-6 on the beautiful Lower Salmon River in Idaho and includes time each morning for Yoga. This trip is called the Women's River & Yoga Retreat and it features special times each day to reflect on nature, practice postures of relaxation, breathing exercises to calm the mind and meditation to feel peaceful in mind, body and spirit. Participants will enjoy a variety of activities like hiking, meditation, massage, reflexology, exfoliating mud baths, chocolate fondue and fresh, organic meals. Come and share the spontaneous laughter, shared wisdom, and support.
