On Wednesday, July 18, CEO of Black Box Social Media Tom Bukacek addressed a room full of local small businesses at the Cedar Park Center for the Austin Toros Sponsor Summit. Mr. Bukacek provided a case study of last years Austin Toros social media marketing plan and results, and provided tips on how other local small businesses could utilize these same strategies.
"My goal was to show many of the local businesses an actual example of what a social media marketing plan should look like and how this plan can be adapted to fit other industries as well," says Mr. Bukacek, who has also recently co authored a book with Dan Kennedy called 'Marketing Miracles' due out this Fall.
Mr. Bukacek recently spoke about social media and sports marketing at the NBA Presidents Meetings in Chicago, IL, last May.
"The goal for many sports teams, especially minor league teams, is to create awareness that the team exists and promote the upcoming events," continues Mr. Bukacek. "However, you can also use social media to generate leads that flow into the team's existing sales funnel. This type of strategy can apply to any type of business."
