SmartWatt Energy, recently named the Administrator and Implementation Contractor for Black Hills Energy’s Small & Medium Business Direct Install Program (SMBDI), is pleased to announce that Mark Gazette has joined the company as Operations Manager in its Pueblo office.

Mark Gazette has extensive experience in both facility and operations management. He most recently held the position of Director of Facilities Management, Planning and Construction for Pueblo City Schools. In this role, he was responsible for developing programs for effective and efficient delivery of building services and implementing budget reduction and cost saving plans for Pueblo’s school systems. Mark graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. As the Operations Manager for the company’s Black Hills Energy Direct Install Program, Mark will be responsible for launching the operations of the program and implementing strategies for continuous operational improvement.
