The US government is offering a tax credit, or 30% of total purchase for qualified energy efficient home improvements up to $1,500.00. The credit encourages homeowners to move in a more eco-friendly direction when it comes to windows and window coverings. Some states offer tax credits for LEED certifications. While replacing windows is one step to earning a tax credit, replacing window treatments is a second, less expensive option that can set homeowners up to either earn refunds or help qualify for LEED certification.
Check out the following energy efficient or eco-friendly window coverings from Blinds Chalet:

"It is exciting to see what the window blind industry is doing to be a part of the green revolution.
