Fort Worth, Texas (PRWEB) November 12, 2012
Bluff Manufacturing, an innovative leader in the fabrication and design of high quality material handling, dock and warehouse equipment, storage structures, and safety barriers, announces that they will be offering custom-designed crossover guard ramps to be used at Fracking and other Construction Sites.
Induced Hydraulic Fracturing (More commonly known as “Fracking”) technology is being used increasingly by the energy industry to unlock supplies of domestic oil and clean-burning natural gas. Bluff Manufacturing’s Crossover Guard Ramps will allow heavy equipment to pass over fracking hoses, pipes, cables and other fracturing (frac) equipment up to 12” in diameter. The ramps will accommodate equipment up to 160,000 lbs.
Built using steel floor plating, Bluff Manufacturing will design the ramps specifically to customer’s needs. Depending on size, the ramps are built in two to four sections, connected with 3/8” fish plates. Each section has full-length stiffeners to add extra strength and durability as well as two built-in fork pockets for easy placement and portability.
“This is an innovative new product line for the industry," says Andrea Curreri, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Bluff Manufacturing, "It will help create efficiency, protect equipment, and support growing energy development in the U.S."
With natural gas playing an increasingly important role in the US economy, Bluff Manufacturing understands the need to protect crucial frac equipment from damage. The heavy duty steel crossover ramps can help fracking companies ensure the success of their operations.
