Vince & Associates Clinical Research, a leading provider of early phase clinical research services to the global biopharmaceutical industry, announced that Dr. Brad Vince, president and medical director, recently shared his expertise at the American College of Clinical Pharmacology Annual Meeting in San Diego September 23.
The symposium was entitled The Evolving Face of First-in-Human Studies from the Investigators’ Perspective. Vince provided the physician perspective on the subject of Single Ascending Dose/Multiple Ascending Dose Combined with Proof-of-Concept and Patient Cohorts.
“It was an honor to share my Phase 1 experience with clinical pharmacologists at the ACCP Annual Meeting,” Vince said. “These types of studies involve the administration of new drugs for the first time in human subjects in order to demonstrate drug safety as well as to provide an early read of potential efficacy in a targeted therapeutic area.”
