BRM, with offices in Manhattan and Foxboro, MA, is an award-winning agency that specializes in partnership marketing, promotional, social and event marketing, with deep roots in the entertainment industry.
BRM’s capabilities and clientele dovetail and deepen Brand Connections’ current event marketing division, bcX. The bcX division is expert in activations at venues such as malls, colleges, Spring Break hot spots, hotels and festivals, and produces office building tours and guerilla marketing for categories ranging from CPG to automotive to consumer electronics. BRM specializes in creating memorable events at places like SXSW and Comic-Con for the entertainment industry. Both companies are on the Event Marketer 100 List and BRM is on the PROMO 100 List.

Dorathy Balsano, previously President at BRM will lead the day-to-day bcX/BRM team as Senior Vice President. Zamoiski founded BRM in 2003. The firm has quickly gained prominence in the experiential space and has executed programs for clients such as AMC, HGTV, Turner Entertainment, and A&E. The company also offers a full suite of promotional services and partnership marketing.

The acquisition will be advantageous for both bcX’s and BRM’s clients, as BRM entertainment brands can take advantage of Brand Connections’ airline partnerships, a proprietary influencer marketing platform, Smiley360.com, mobile marketing innovations and Brand Connections’ dominance in the venue-based marketing space. Brand Connections’ partners, in turn, can benefit from BRM’s strengths in strategy and activation.
BRM staff will relocate along with Brand Connections to new office space in Times Square in early 2013. The Foxboro, MA office will remain intact.
This is the second acquisition the independent company has announced this quarter. Last month Brand Connections acquired integrated advertising agency, PIE Advertising.
