Broadlane announced today that Integrated Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: IHCH) will maintain its exclusive relationship with Broadlane.
Dallas, TX (Vocus/PRWEB ) April 29, 2008 -- Broadlane announced today that Integrated Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: IHCH) will maintain its exclusive relationship with Broadlane. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Integrated Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (IHHI) will continue to access Broadlane’s unparalleled national GPO portfolio of consumable supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals and purchased services to help manage its approximate $52 million in annual spend for all four hospitals in Orange County, California.
IHHI also will continue to utilize Broadlane’s Item Master Maintenance and proprietary technology, OnRamp (Broadlane’s client portal).
Under the new agreement, IHHI will add clinical consulting to its list of services provided by Broadlane. Specifically, Broadlane will implement its Medication Use Management (MUM) program in IHHI facilities. Broadlane’s MUM program uses evidence-based medicine standards to support cost-effective therapies that help maintain or improve clinical outcomes.

In addition, by using Broadlane’s workforce services, IHHI hospitals will continue to simplify and enhance all aspects of the clinical contract labor process including: agency contracting, contract labor staff requisition and fulfillment, contract labor credential and performance tracking, time tracking and payments. Broadlane’s Web-based vendor management system will allow IHHI to efficiently assess the availability and credentials of staff from all its contracted agencies to ensure the quality of any contract nursing and allied health staff working in IHHI hospitals.
