Yield Engineering Systems, Inc. (YES), has become the most recent member of MiQro Innovation Collaborative Centre (C2MI). Being an active C2MI member provides access to a distinct collaborative structure, networking possibilities with global leaders, and a unique membership model that is tailored to YES’ objectives.

YES already has three tools installed in the C2MI facility. The facility houses a 135 million dollar fleet of equipment that focuses on micro-electromechanical (MEMS) and advanced packaging. The YES-VertaCure, YES-VertaCoat and YES-VertaVac are all essential tools for MEMS and Wafer-level packaging (WLP) processes. With hundreds of tools installed around the world, YES tools offer economical solutions for an array of processes.

C2MI, provides a state-of-the-art infrastructure for the benefits of its members. This high-technology hub provides support so that innovative concepts can be promptly commercialized. C2MI is active in die-level packaging, complex microsystems, 3D design integration and micro electromechanical systems (MEMS) development.

The C2MI 2013 Symposium entitled “Collaboration and Growth: A Winning Synergy” is a unique event where major microelectronic players from Canada and around the world will be present to discover and exchange successes of collaborative activities and explore new opportunities. The symposium takes place October 8-9, 2013 at C2MI. Moffat’s presentation will be discussing MEMS processing and the future of the industry.
