National Data Center Provider, CRG West, Unveils New Name
One of the largest data center providers in the United States, CRG West will change its name to "CoreSite - A Carlyle Company" and deliver enhanced customer-focused services.
Denver, CO (PRWEB) June 22, 2009 - CRG West, LLC, privately held national data center company and wholly-owned subsidiary of The Carlyle Group, announced today the launch of a new brand and legal corporate identity: "CoreSite - A Carlyle Company." The name change reflects a new customer-focused company designed to deliver the security, reliability and communications opportunities that enterprises need to compete in the global marketplace.
Established in 2001 as CRG West at One Wilshire in Los Angeles and Market Post Tower in San Jose, CoreSite wholesale data centers and colocation facilities are also now located in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Northern Virginia, the San Francisco Bay Area and Washington D.C., totaling more than two million square feet of service area. The rebrand marks the successful completion of CoreSite's migration of administrative processes to its newly-formed headquarters in Denver, Colorado, and the overhaul of company processes designed to make business easier for its customers.
