College football coaches now have a one-stop shop for all their recruiting needs.
Collegiate Sports Data (CSD) surveys high school football coaches and compiles data on thousands of coach-vetted college football prospects. To solidify their position as the go-to resource for all football coaches across the nation, CSD recently announced the formation of its new division, CSD Scout. The new division enhances CSD’s service offerings, which will now feature customized evaluations and verifications of prospect data.
David Armstrong will be heading up CSD Scout as the Director of Scouting Services. Armstrong will help college coaches determine the most attractive prospective athletes for their particular programs using CSD’s database. Initially, Armstrong will focus on compiling a premier Junior College (JUCO) package of prospects, as well as the top recruits for 2014 and 2015.
“I am very excited to join the CSD family and look forward to working with a great staff. With my 18 years of experience as a college football coach and my years in the recruiting industry, I hope to bring a new dimension to the business,” said Armstrong.
Armstrong previously served as Director of Recruiting Administration for the University of Kentucky football program and has held coaching positions at nine colleges and universities over the course of his career. Armstrong also owned and operated SoutheastScout.com, a recruiting service for high schools and junior colleges in Mississippi and Kansas, from 2009-2011.
The launch of CSD’s new division caps off a year of change for the company. In October 2011, CSD came under new ownership and implemented a new cutting-edge online system to manage its prospect database.
