San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 25, 2008
CVCTA Education of San Francisco, the leading educational provider to physicians in the area of advanced imaging procedures, announced that it is expanding its popular CTA Training program to six new locations:
Earlier in 2008, CVCTA Education finalized its acquisition of CVI Training center of Columbia, South Carolina. "The acquisition of CVI reunited Dr. DeFrance and Dr. Newton and gave CVCTA Education a nationwide training presence. The combined efforts of CVCTA and CVI allow us to provide the highest quality training to the greatest number of physicians," said Dr. Dan Gebow, President of CVCTA. He also added, "Physicians who want to be trained in CTA have until July 2010 to complete their training before the grandfather clause ends and training becomes more time consuming. The CVI acquisition brings medical expertise, industry veterans, and a strong relationship with Tera Recon, positioning us well for the 18 month training window," said Dr. Gebow.
"With recent changes in healthcare reimbursement, being trained to a high level of expertise in CTA is more than meeting the guidelines for credentialing" said Dr. Tony DeFrance, "it is about physicians performing a comprehensive and accurate interpretation in a reasonable amount of time. It is about using the best technology and the best workflow." CVCTA's CTA training program emphasizes efficient workflow and a systematic reading method. To ensure the best technology is used by practicing physicians, CVCTA has partnered with Vital Images, Tera Recon, and Toshiba, who offer the most advanced technology in 3D advanced visualization.
