Online university hosts eight residential colloquia each year for its graduate online degree students
Minneapolis (PRWEB) December 20, 2007 -- More than 1,000 PhD and master's online degree students from Capella University (www.capella.edu), an accredited, online university, will gather in Anaheim, Calif., beginning Dec. 27 to take part in the online university's next residential colloquium. The event will take place at the Hyatt Orange County.
Each year, Capella hosts approximately eight residential colloquia, during which the online university's students meet with their colleagues and faculty in a variety of workshops and presentations related to their degree specializations. Every Capella PhD student and some master's degree students are required to attend colloquia, which are held at locations throughout the United States. Of the more than 20,000 students pursuing an online degree at Capella, approximately 85 percent are PhD and master's students.
