Daytona, FL (PRWEB) February 15, 2012
Globalcast internationally and broadcast locally on WNDB 1150 in Daytona, “Bobby Likis Car Clinic” will capture all the pre-Daytona 500 excitement at Daytona International Speedway, live from the Motor Racing Network (MRN) studios. Co-hosting with Likis will be Preston Root, veteran racing and news reporter and community philanthropist. Guests sharing the mic include NASCAR racing legends, Cale Yarborough, Dale Inman and Glen Wood.
“The SpeedWeeks Car Clinic globalcast will be a NASCAR ‘vortex,’ where conversations leapfrog from iconic drivers in NASCAR history to today’s racecars with their electronic fuel injection, E-15-driven engines,” says Likis. Likis rolls into Daytona late Thursday night after having attended the National Ethanol Conference in Orlando. Adds Likis, “I can’t think of a more credible testing ground for the effect of E-15 on engine performance than the Daytona 500.”
Likis begins Friday morning with a lap or two around the famous Daytona International Speedway track, riding with Brett Bodine, NASCAR’s official pace driver. Bodine will treat Bobby to a leisurely 140 mph spin, as Bodine skillfully negotiates the Speedway’s high banks.
