Cardio Partner Resources' mission is to increase the survival rate of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and to train employees how to respond to medical and injury-related emergencies. Cardio Partner Resources' motto, "Keep Learning and Keep Living," is demonstrated in on-site classroom and throughout Cardio Partner Resources social media platforms, where Cardio Partner Resources seek to educate as many people as possible about the importance of having an AED.

Thirteen hundred lives are lost daily due to SCA, making it the leading cause of death in the United States. SCA causes the heart to unexpectedly quit beating (referred to as ventricular fibrillation). SCA can occur independently from a heart attack and without warning; it is unpredictable and can happen to anyone, anywhere. When not treated immediately, SCA can lead to death. AEDs are the only effective treatment — AEDs analyze the victim's heart rhythm, and, when needed, deliver an electric shock to restore it. Portable AED models now allow more people, with minimal training, to respond to this medical emergency. This is extremely important because, for each minute that passes without defibrillation, the chances that an individual will survive decrease by seven to ten percent.
