In response to consumer demand for quality real estate maps of available land and lots for sale, the SurfTheTurf.com Real Estate Team has released new San Diego maps that have accurate placement of land parcels for sale in the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Encinitas, CA (PRWEB) November 29, 2007 -- In response to consumer demand for information about land and lots for sale, the SurfTheTurf.com Real Estate Team has combined MLS data with geographic information services (GIS) resources to create local maps showing accurate placement of the parcels of land for sale listed in the MLS. The result is that consumers interested in buying a lot or land parcel in San Diego County on which to build a home now have easy-to-use maps to look for property.
Carlsbad Example Land Map
Designed by Margaret Hokkanen, the Team's lead real estate agent, these maps solve the problem of determining where a parcel of land for sale is located. "Some real estate web sites allow you to display land for sale in a list, but they often they cannot show you where the parcels are located on a map," explains Hokkanen. "The difficulties arise because bare land parcels have no house and often no corresponding US Postal Service address. Without a valid address, the real estate mapping tools found on other sites typically fail to display the property or put it in the wrong location."
Ms. Hokkanen states that they solved the location problem for the vast majority of the San Diego listings. She also states, "To add further value, we even color-code the item push-pins by price and show the acreage. This allows land buyers to scan the maps for location, price, and acreage simultaneously."
