New York, NY (PRWEB) October 18, 2012

Celtic Promise, leading online retailer of classic Celtic Jewelry and designer Irish jewelry, announces the launch of designer Declan Killen this October.

Established in 1985, Killen creates contemporary and traditional jewelry collections using precious metals including silver and gold. Every piece is conceived and handmade in his workshop and hallmarked in Dublin Castle. From humble beginnings in a small studio in Dublin, Ireland - Declan Killan has emerged as one of Irelands most celebrated jewelry designers.

In 2011 the Irish Government presented jewelry by Declan Killen to President Barack Obama in the White House on Saint Patrick’s Day. That same year, Killan was commissioned by the Irish President Mary McAleese to create handmade jewelry for Queen Elizabeth II to mark her historic trip to Ireland.

Declan Killen is the eleventh Irish Jewelry designer to be added to the Celtic Promise site, and his introduction coincides with the first anniversary in business for Celtic Promise. “Being represented by Celtic Promise is a great way to sell my designs to new customers in the US. This is a very exciting opportunity.” said Killan.

Celtic Promise founder, Siofra Hill, is delighted to be selling designs by such an accomplished designer and shares in his excitement. Both Celtic Promise and Killan share the philosophy that the personal touch is everything in the jewelry market. Theirs is the belief that handmade jewelry 'feels different' and that hand crafted pieces stand out as individual items. Elegance and detail of design are two trademarks that have been at the core of Celtic Promise, and that have earned Killan such prestigious commissions.

With one year of business complete and the holidays fast approaching there is a lot to look forward to. Hill is committed to a long lasting partnership between Celtic Promise and Declan Killan, and to further growing the list of leading Irish Jewelry Designers on CelticPromise.com.
